Day 15 done!!! I love my new treadmill, well I love that I’m not running in the freezing cold. Back outside tomorrow though. Well hopefully…. Day 11 out in the dark. I ran with a friend which was good because I really felt like giving up at 2 km. My foot was sore. It was windy. It was cold. All excuses. Another crap day. Grey and cold. I can feel myself becoming more depressed. I really do think my general happiness is linked to sun, I was never happier than when we lived in Dubai. I woke up with a killer headache after a brilliant day/night. Started at Hard Rock ended up at a Lebonese restaurant for end of the night munchies. It started snowing last night so this morning Baku was under a blanket of the crappy whiet stuff. This wouldnt have been too bad had I not signed…… Continue reading Snow & cupcakes.
I had a lovely quiet NYE at home with the family. Drank a couple of bottles of Verve with the hubby, watched the last instalment of the Hunger Games (as bad as the others) and waited for the fireworks to start (they love a firework here). The kids both wanted to stay up for the count…… Continue reading Happy New Year of the Granny Square
