Day 8 done.

Day 8 done!!! This morning was a good example of why RED January is important. I opened my eyes after a horrible night of nightmares and little sleep, my first thought was I can’t do today. I stood in the shower feeling sick and shaking at the thought of leaving the house. But today was the kids first day back at school, the boy had already asked me twice yesterday if I would be taking him. I dithered about whether to put my running gear on to go to school or if I should wait until this evening to run. Maybe I would feel better later. Only I wouldn’t have. I would have spent the whole day hiding. So now it’s only 9.15am, I’ve already ran 5k and I’m feeling 100% better than I did at 7.30 this morning.
