I didn’t feel much like crocheting today, I did finish my square but didn’t do anything else.

I had a phone call from home that knocked the wind out of me. A girl I grew up with died yesterday at only 33. It’s just not right. We hadn’t spoken for a long time but we were close as kids, she was the little sister of my best friend. I called her mum my other mother, I still call her mam actually. My heart is broken for mam, no mother should have to bury their child.
